Private Lessons
Lessons are currently offered at our home studio for your convenience. We accept children as young as five, and adults of any age. Lessons are either 45 minutes or one hour in length, usually once a week. Our youngest students may take 30 minute lessons. Lessons include training in technique, theory, ear training, sight reading, and how to practice. We are proud to say we specialize in teaching exceptional student learners. We may offer a group recital where students can meet, socialize, and perform.
Primary Pianists
An interactive piano experience for children 4 & 5 years old, taught privately or in groups of two. The focus is on exploration, awareness of hands & associated symbols, manipulative skills, pitch awareness and rhythmic concepts including pre-staffed and standard notation. Solo and partner playing opportunities are given.
Music Theory
There is a MUSIC THEORY component in the 45 - 60 minute private lessons. Music is composed of hundreds of symbols, notes, values, as well as the Italian language. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming, so the designated theory time helps to establish a firm foundation in these areas. And this is what makes the music precise and expressive.
Performances
Proficiency - confidence - ease; We aim to provide these effortlessly for your special occasion. We will provide musical performances at weddings, social gatherings, business functions, or liturgical events. The goal is always the same - that each event has that special touch, with memories that last a lifetime.
